01 About

Health education patients actually turn up for

Sylvie Health was founded by Dr Manoj Patel to close a simple gap: patients in New Zealand often leave a 15-minute consultation with more questions than answers. Our webinars give them an hour with a senior New Zealand clinician — in plain language, with time for the questions they didn't get to ask. Sessions are free, run one hour with live Q&A, and are recorded and sent to every registrant.

New Zealand clinical speakers

Every session is led by a practising New Zealand specialist or allied health professional, so guidance reflects the local healthcare system, funding and referral pathways.

A genuine patient audience

Our attendees are patients and their families who have actively sought out education about their own condition — not a purchased list.

Turnkey for sponsors

We handle promotion, registration, hosting, moderation, recording and follow-up. Sponsors provide a logo and approve their acknowledgment wording.

02 Audience & Reach

The numbers behind the last session

Sylvie Health's webinar series launched in 2026. Our most recent session — held on Sunday 26 July 2026 on inflammatory conditions, delivered by a leading Auckland rheumatologist — produced the following:

Where the audience comes from

Registrations are driven through Sylvie Health's own opted-in database of New Zealanders living with or managing long-term health conditions, supplemented by targeted advertising in the lead-up to each event. Because every registrant receives the recording, engagement continues well beyond the live hour.

03 Speakers

Clinicians who can talk to patients, not just to doctors

Every speaker has complete editorial control of their session — which is exactly what makes it worth attending.

Inflammatory Conditions

A leading Auckland rheumatologist

Extensive experience treating arthritis and autoimmune conditions across the New Zealand public and private systems, with a long track record of patient education.

Weight Management

A New Zealand specialist physician in obesity and metabolic medicine

Covering the full range of options available here — lifestyle and behavioural change, pharmacotherapy and surgery — so patients leave understanding the whole picture, not one part of it.

04 Calendar

One session a month, on the Sunday nearest the 20th

It's the evening our audience turns up for. Weight management returns quarterly. Each session is offered to a single sponsor, confirmed roughly four weeks ahead so branding is in place before promotion begins.

Single session or a series block

Sponsors can take one session, or a block covering a topic's full run for the year at a reduced per-session rate. A block retains sole sponsorship for every session in the term — no competitor is offered the slot while you hold it — and carries right of first refusal on the following block.

Our commitment on reach

We back our projections. If registrations for a sponsored session fall materially short of the figures we quote, we extend your acknowledgment to the next session at no cost. Full terms are set out in every written proposal.

Investment is quoted per session, in New Zealand dollars and excluding GST. Contact us for current rates and a written proposal.

06 Principles

Clinical independence, by design

Six commitments that apply to every sponsored session, without exception — and that let your medical, legal and compliance teams review this quickly.

These principles support compliance with New Zealand's regulatory and industry requirements for sponsored patient education. Written sponsorship terms are available on request. Our handling of registrant information is set out in our privacy policy.
